The History Department seek to help young people to discover how our past has shaped the society that we live in today. We also look to develop the literary and analytical skills that will allow our pupils to be successful in their lives.
History pupils are issued with regular homework to consolidate the work undertaken in class. This can take a variety of forms, including project work, written exercises and revision tasks.
Continuous assessment will be undertaken throughout the session to track pupils’ progress and class tests will be undertaken at appropriate times. There are some significant dates to note:
