Formal homework is assessment based. Pupils are given a relatively small piece of the course to revise followed by a short assessment.
This assessment is marked, gone over in class then taken home by pupils for parent/carer signature.
This gives a good indication of how much “work” is done at home and provides regular feedback to parents.
Pupils will also have informal homework ie completing questions and practical reports.
