With my position as a school captain, I aim to inspire the younger students to pursue their goals and show them the wide range of opportunities they have access to both inside and outside of school. Additionally, I hope to promote an environment where everyone’s voice is heard and understood, helping give the pupils a voice through my position. Lenzie Academy has connected me with new people and developed my skills academically and personally, allowing me to utilize them throughout my daily life. This year I will collaborate with my peers to make this an enjoyable experience for all and bring about positive changes for future students.

As School Captain, I aim to be the point of call for whoever wants to be involved in creating change or just helping. Many people go about their day with ideas in mind on what they would like to see different around the school, but never voice these thoughts. I want to be someone who is approachable and who can help anyone and everyone by making the school better in various ways. Lenzie Academy has done so much for me. Taking part in Bronze Duke of Edinburgh made my CV stand out which in turn landed me a part-time job. Networking opportunities are in abundance at Lenzie Academy, whether it be events like Step Into Finance, speakers hosting presentations, or work experience opportunities at various employers. For example, through Lenzie Academy I was able to take part in a week’s work experience at AG Barr where I was able to make connections that I hope to use in the future. Lenzie Academy has all the tools for pupils success, it’s just a matter of using them.

As a vice captain at Lenzie Academy, I hope to be a positive role model for all years to look up to and inspire. I will work with the other vice captains to help create a fun prom for the S6s with lasting memories. We also will be a part of making a memorable yearbook that will help summarise our enjoyable experience at Lenzie. I want to ensure that everyone from all years feel included, safe and enjoys school as much as they can and gets the most their time at Lenzie like I have.

I’m committed to making this a fun and inclusive year where everyone feels involved and proud to be part of our school community.

As a vice captain at Lenzie Academy, I hope to be a positive and inspiring role model and work together with my fellow vice captains to create a very enjoyable and memorable S6 prom. With an unforgettable yearbook too. I hope to make every pupil voice heard so they feel safe, secure and supported within our school, just like I have throughout all my years here.

As Vice-Captain of Lenzie Academy, I take pride in setting a strong example for others around the school and demonstrating the school values in everything I do. I will work closely with the other Vice Captains and the S6 leadership team as a whole to ensure that we create a memorable school year for all students. I will be a familiar face that pupils can approach to share ideas, and I will ensure everyone’s voices are heard. Myself, and the other Vice Captains will work hard to plan an amazing prom and an outstanding yearbook.

Callum McB - S1 Ambassador |

My aim is to give all the S1s the best start to high school possible! I want to encourage the school values and give them a sense of community within their house, year group and within the whole school. It’s also important to me that the first years take full advantage of all the opportunities they have which will help them develop many important skills they can use throughout their life. Throughout school I have got to develop many skills as well as discovering many new subjects which I have really enjoyed. Being at Lenzie Academy has also helped me meet loads of new people and make amazing friends!
|
I’m a BGE Ambassador for S1 and I hope to make them feel welcome to the school and along side Sarah, help run events for the S1’s letting them get used to high school whilst having fun and making friends. I hope the S1’s will feel comfortable with coming to me about concerns they might have as I want them to feel welcome. I am also a Captain of the HFT Ambassadors, we help with catering for school events such as the Celebration of Culture and Celebration of Character.

Chloe W - S2 Ambassador |
| Hello, my name is Melny and I am the BGE Ambassador for s2. With my role as BGE Ambassador I am going to make s2 an enjoyable experience. I want to use this opportunity to encourage others to get involved, share their ideas, and make sure every student feels supported and included. Through this role, I hope to develop my confidence, leadership, and teamwork skills while giving something back to the school community. My school has done a lot for me by helping me grow as a person, supporting my learning, and giving me chances to take on new challenges like this one. |
Hi, my name is Chloe and this year I’m one of three BGE ambassadors for S2! With my position, I aim to provide guidance and extra support to the S2’s as they make important decisions such as choosing what subjects they want to pursue at Lenzie. I’d like to get the whole year group involved in more activities together throughout the school year to create a welcoming and safe environment where everyone feels included. I’d also like to encourage the extracurricular activities more as Lenzie does have so many to choose from!

Isabella S - S3 Ambassador |

As a BGE Ambassador, my role in the school is to be a good role model to the S2 pupils and motivate them through this important year. Subjects are picked which set up pupils for their career and I hope to be able to provide guidance to them in this important decision as it can affect the rest of their time in school. I also would like to organise events within the school that involve everyone, to create a stronger community in Lenzie Academy.
|
I wanted to become BGE Ambassador for third years because I want to help build a stronger, more connected school community. I am also excited to work with others, share ideas, and get everyone involved, so I’m really looking forward to helping create better links between different year groups. My goal is to make sure everyone feels included, supported, and proud to be part of our school.

| As a BGE Ambassador for S3 I hope to help provide exam advice from senior phase pupils as the year group goes through their first formal practice assessments December. This can hopefully help to make the transition go smoothly as I know how nervous this was from personal experience. I hope this can help them get used to the formal exam setting providing more help before they sit their National 5 exams next year. |
